Enrolled Nurse – Transition to Practice Program Nursing Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028 (IB68) 48 hours per fortnight (Multiple Positions Available) Part Time, Max Term June 2025 - December 2025 ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River. ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. Applications are sought from recently or soon to be qualified Enrolled Nurses to transition into their nursing careers under our established Transition to Practice Program at Echuca Regional Health. This Program is rotation based, including both Acute and Aged Care settings. The role is strongly supported by our Education team and offers a structured program and learning opportunities to assist with the successful transition into professional nursing practice. Key responsibilities include: Providing safe and effective evidence-based nursing care Conduct systemic nursing assessments and plan nursing care in consultation with individual patients Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures Actively participate in quality improvement activities, unit meetings and committees as appropriate Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice Qualifications/experience required: Diploma of Nursing Current AHPRA Registration as a Enrolled Nurse Working for ERH At ERH we offer a supportive and inclusive culture that offers opportunity for growth and development.
