GAME Traffic & Contracting is committed to providing support for local people looking to commence a career in the Traffic Management industry. With the introduction of additional training requirements to enter the Traffic Management Industry, in 2024, GAME is now working with many Austroads approved Training Organisations to assists them in providing work placement opportunities* to their trainees, completing the skill sets listed below: RIISS00058 - Traffic Controller Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads (TC1), RIISS00060 - Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads (TMI1) Please note that GAME are not an RTO and do not run the training course. It is your responsibility to research and complete training with the RTO of your choice. However, GAME are able to provide the mandatory work placement requirements of the training for our applicants to complete their qualifications, either during the recruitment process or following an offer of employment. Please note the training above does not have to completed or booked before submitting your application, however Candidates at this stage will be prioritised. We are looking for candidates to join our team in Shepparton and people with a positive attitude to work and safety, have an opportunity to access good rates of pay and hours of work as a casual Traffic Controller once qualified. Strong verbal Communication Skills - to enable clear communication over UHF Radio Additional mandatary requirements: Current Drivers Licence CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White card) We know it is hard work out on the road … days can be long and the weather conditions challenging at times, so at GAME we strive to ensure the things we can control are better than the rest. Trainee's may need to travel to several different depot locations in order to access available placement opportunities.
