Here is what you should know… About the Role Our macadamia processing factory located at Alloway continues to grow and evolve. The role of Team Leader is to ensure daily production targets and schedules are met. This role will require a person who enjoys engaging with a diverse group of people to provide on the job training, supervision and guidance to ensure operational tasks are performed safely and to the required standards. The Team Leader will regularly communicate with personnel from our production, maintenance and quality teams. On the job training will be provided. This role reports to the Production Coordinator. Duties include but are not limited to: Ensure daily operations are performed safely and in line with food safety requirements Supervising and engaging a team of people Meeting production plans and schedules Monitoring labour efficiency Monitor machine and equipment efficiency and effectiveness Arrange and conduct daily toolbox meetings Follow Work Health & Safety Practices and Procedures Actively contribute and participate in a culture of continuous improvement Essential Key Requirements: Demonstrated commitment to safety first culture Experience in a Team Leader/Supervisor role with strong time management and organisational skills Competent computer skills Good written and verbal communication skills Team player with strong work ethic Willingness to follow Work Health Safety policies and procedures A 'can do' attitude and willingness to participate in ongoing training and open to new ideas Drivers licence and own transport Highly Desired requirements: Experience working in the food manufacturing industry Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain What We Are Offering Competitive wages Enjoy the variety of a rural and coastal lifestyle – our macadamia, avocado and mango orchards are located across the Bundaberg, Farnsfield and Cordalba regions. What You Should Know About Our Operations Our business is widespread, growing walnuts and almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland. Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
