Production Manager

Talent Focus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our client's team in Darra. Our client is an industry leader in manufacturing tailored metal products to predominately mining and construction industries. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage, lead and coordinate fabrication and machining department, efficiently plan works orders through to management of production schedule, purchasing of raw materials and supplier management to meet and exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidates must possess the following skills and experience: Develop, implement and control production schedules/plans to meet customer demand and maximise workshop efficiency. Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely completion of orders. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer specifications. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration. Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods to support production schedules. Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience in a leadership role within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes, equipment, and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
