About the role We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our team at Bridgewater bakehouse' in East Bendigo, Victoria. As a full-time Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods to meet the demands of our thriving local community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and passionate team, creating delicious breads, pastries and other baked treats. What you'll be doing Preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, cakes and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules Ensuring all baked products meet the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations Collaborating with the team to improve processes and introduce new products Providing exceptional customer service and assisting with counter duties as needed What we're looking for Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef, with a strong understanding of baking techniques and food safety Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines A passion for creating delicious baked goods and a commitment to using high-quality ingredients Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in baking or food preparation What we offer At Bridgewater bakehouse', we are dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team.
