About the role Join our finance team at Midwest Auto Group as a Junior Accountant based in our Geraldton dealership. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting support to the business, helping us maintain our strong financial position. What you'll be doing Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable invoices Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements Support the month-end and year-end close processes Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required What we're looking for A bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented mindset Knowledge of Australian tax and regulatory requirements for accounting What we offer Remuneration will be in accordance with award rates, and based on skills and abilities.
