Cleaner

Holmwood Aged Care are currently seeking Cleaners to join our team on a part time basis. About the Role: The Cleaner will provide high-quality professional cleaning to help maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a focus on maximising safety and minimising health risks for residents, visitors and staff at all times. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, The Cleaner will be responsible for, but not limited to: Providing a timely and efficient cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of residents and facility operations. Ensuring that the cleaning service is conducted in a way that is safe to staff and residents and complies with Workplace Health & Safety legislation including safe use of chemicals. Ensuring a high standard of customer service when interacting with residents, resident representatives and staff. About you The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: Previous experience as a cleaner Demonstrated organisation and time management skills. Knowledge of cleaning products and the safe handling, storage and disposal or chemicals, and use of cleaning equipment Good communication skills, including a caring and compassionate manner when interacting with customers and their representatives A commitment to the principles of Workplace Health & Safety and ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff. Ability to build and foster strong working relationships and work well as part of a team.
