Dispatch Scheduler / Assistant

A leading Building Supplies Company based in Toowoomba has a job vacancy for a Dispatch Scheduler/Assistant. The company produces and distributes metal building products and associated accessories to the commercial and residential building industries and suppliers. We have a large clientele base and pride ourselves on a high level of customer service and the quality of our products. To work as part of our Dispatch team, you will be assisting the Dispatch Manager with all aspects of Dispatch as well as loading and unloading trucks. This is a critical part of our business, responsible for delivering required outcomes on time every time, while ensuring quality customer service, both internal and external. You will require great organisational and time management as it is a fast paced environment and requires a high level of attention to detail. Your responsibilities being a key team member will include but are not limited to: Organising daily delivery runs for our fleet of vehicles Adhering to procedures to ensure goods are delivered in a timely manner Interact with our customers to ensure quality customer service through good communication and attention to detail Assist with the scheduling of ongoing maintenance to our fleet of vehicles Essential Criteria You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with other team members as well as our customers Sound computer literacy The ability to multitask effectively while still meeting time lines A commitment to safe working environment Be self-motivated with the ability to adapt as necessary as tasks are presented 2 years logistics experience If this sounds like a role that would suit you and your skill set, and you want to work for a large reputable company then please click apply now.
