Airport Customer Service and Ramp Staff (No Aviation Experience Required)

Our client is a leading provider of ground and air cargo services, handling multiple flights per week at various locations throughout Australia. They are now seeking a reliable and enthusiastic candidate to join their team at the Burnie Airport. While prior experience in aviation is highly desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate. This job offers around 15-20 hours each week, on a rotating roster. Location: Burnie, TAS. Pay Rate: $31 to $33 p/h Shift Loading Super Roles: Duties will include but not be limited to: Greeting customers at Check-in Processing and checking travel documents Preparing and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers Gate boarding Passenger Marshalling Bag Room functions: scanning and manual handling luggage Loading / unloading baggage & freight Aircraft Receipt & Dispatch Aircraft Pushback Water and waste services Operating Ground Service Equipment on Ramp Cleaning Aircrafts Requirements: Have a valid full driver’s licence and Reliable transport to get to and from Burnie Airport Fluent in spoken and written English. Reliability, Punctuality and excellent time management Proficient computer skills Be physically fit (able to lift 32kgs) Able to obtain an ASIC card (requires federal police background check) Willing and able to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
