Assistant Bar Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team and work closely with our current manager to lead the bar operations. You must – - Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction. - Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service. - Handle staff scheduling, manage shifts, and assist with team performance management. - Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to ensure the bar is always well-stocked and efficient. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including alcohol service laws and responsible drinking policies. - Manage cash handling, reconcile tills, and ensure accurate end-of-day financial reporting. - Provide excellent customer service, handle guest complaints or concerns, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. - Previous experience in a bar management or supervisory role, ideally within a pub or hospitality environment. - Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy nights and weekends. - Must be available to work nights, weekends, and public holidays. - NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required. - NSW RCG & Advanced RCG certification required or willing to obtain.
