About the Role School cleaners play a vital role in the school community by reducing the spread of disease through high standards of cleaning practices and keeping the appearance of the school at a high standard. It is the responsibility of school cleaners to deliver a clean and hygienic learning environment for all students. As the Cleaner you will: Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support. Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program. The Cleaner, reports to the school Principal or nominated delegate. About You Ability to work independently without direct supervision Mandatory requirements: When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
