Range Operator

Full Time opportunity ,Monday - Sunday, 0700-2200 Rotating Roster Free parking, Uniforms, PPE, cleaning equipment and products are supplied Opportunity to join a progressive organisation that truly embraces training and development Your day to day activities: Participate and Deliver Range Services Daily Briefings, Use of Range Communications, Work in Remote Locations, Work with Target Systems, Work in Support of Army Exercises. Work in a small team environment, Lifting and manual handling. Use Defence Computer or Paper Bases System to read and advise on customer booking enquiries Facilitate movement onto and off the Range area Conduct Range maintenance as allocated Be a member of the Fire Response Team What you'll bring: Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Intermediate literacy and computer skills Must hold a current MR (or higher) Australian Drivers Licence Must have or be capable of attaining a workplace first aid qualification to National Certificate Level 2 standard Must have or be capable of attaining current operator licences for all Range vehicles and equipment Must have or be capable of attaining Fire Qualifications in Wildfire Response and Suppression The successful candidates will possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service Previous experience working in the Defence environment highly regarded ABOUT US Downer Group is an employer that acknowledges and embraces the importance of our people's diverse experiences, talents, and cultures.
