Job Description: Experienced Vehicle Painter Main Tasks: • Prepare and clean vehicle parts/accessory surfaces for painting, including panel repair (aesthetics, scratches, etc.). • Apply paint to host vehicles, parts, and accessories using various methods (spray guns, brushes, rollers). • Conduct spray painting, ensuring accurate matching of accessories and parts with host vehicles. • Perform cutting and polishing for a flawless finish. • Operate and maintain paint mixing facilities. • Ensure quality and accuracy of paint color matching. • Rectify paint imperfections and flaws. • Apply clear coats and other finishes to protect and enhance vehicle appearances. • Collaborate with the finishing team and assist in other areas as needed. • Adhere to attendance requirements, deadlines, and quality standards. • Take pride in delivering accurate and high-quality paintwork. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements: • Certificate or higher in Automotive Refinishing Technology, Vehicle Painting, Spray Painting, or a related field (significant experience may substitute for formal qualifications). • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Vehicle Painting/Spray Painting role. • Attention to detail with a logical problem-solving approach. • Strong knowledge of vehicle aesthetics. • Good physical fitness. • Proven ability to paint vehicle or heavy machinery parts and accessories. • Experience working with 2 pack paints. • Demonstrated color matching skills. • Panel and paint prepping abilities. • Organized with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. • Alignment with NB Automotive Pty Ltd’s Core Values and a commitment to applying them in all work activities. • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
