Butcher - Aft shift

About the role Tassie Fine Foods is seeking skilled and dedicated Butchers to join our afternoon shift team in Pakenham. Your commitment, together with your meat knowledge and knife skills will be valued and rewarded. You will be responsible for cutting orders to specific customer requirements while maintaining a high level of organisation and safety. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits. What you'll be doing Expertly cutting, trimming, and preparing orders to specific weight and customer specifications Ensuring all products meet company quality standards and food safety regulations Operate various processing machinery incl. Cryovac, Ban Saw & Lazer Cutter, mincer & dicer Maintain a clean and well-organised work environment Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations What we're looking for Proven experience as a Butcher with portion cutting experience, preferably within a commercial setting Strong knowledge of meat cuts, products, and preparation techniques Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Excellent communication and teamwork skills What we offer At Tassie Fine Foods, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
