About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Plumber to join our dynamic and skilled team. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for a professional with experience in machinery fitting, and industrial pumping. We are a local company that values well-trained staff and offers excellent training opportunities to help you grow in your plumbing career. You will oversee the installation, servicing, and maintenance of pumping systems across a range of industrial sectors, including mining, quarries, municipal, commercial, and wastewater systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of mechanical and hydraulic pump systems. Key Responsibilities: Installing, maintaining and repairing large-scale pumping and water treatment systems within industrial / commercial facilities (ie. water treatment and sewage treatment plants). Maintaining and Servicing industrial plumbing & pumping equipment. Diagnosing and fixing leaks, clogs, pressure issues, and other problems within intricate plumbing / pumping systems. Adhering to strict safety procedures related to working in hazardous environments, including confined spaces, high pressure systems, and chemical exposure. Understanding complex industrial plumbing plans to accurately locate and repair issues. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a plumber with a mechanical fitting background. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to read technical plans and diagrams. Relevant certifications and licenses for plumbing and industrial work. Desirable Experience: Previous experience working with industrial pumping systems, pipework, and related components. Experience and/or accreditation in relation to fire pumping/protection systems would be highly regarded iPad/iPhone skills and familiarity with modern mobile technologies
