Our four Greencross clinics in Townsville's north are looking for an experienced nurse to join the team. The role will offer variety and support as you will have the chance to work across the four clinics in the region. Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and 2 years of clinical experienceAn extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresExcellent communication and customer service skillsConfidence in monitoring anaesthesiaA calm, friendly, team player attitudeExperience using RxWorks will be highly regardedAvailability to work some Saturdays Ultimately, we want someone who is committed and eager to develop their knowledge and skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. What You’ll Be Doing Each Day Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical carePerforming minor procedures when required Caring, handling and cleaning all animalsMaintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipmentReception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients Sound like your next role?
