Key Accounts Specialist - Logistics

Our client is looking for a Key Accounts Specialist to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town . This role is focused on managing and maintaining key client accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and coordinating administrative processes between clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and highly customer-centric, with a hands-on approach to account support rather than sales or upselling. Own transport is essential, as occasional travel to client premises is required. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients Understand client needs and anticipate future requirements Manage account meetings and compile monthly KPI packs Resolve client issues and complaints professionally and efficiently Produce cost estimates and identify areas for account improvements Coordinate communication between internal teams and clients Assist in building and maintaining client account plans Monitor and manage service inboxes and client ticketing systems Support production planning by liaising with warehouse and operations teams Compile kits and adjust production schedules when necessary Analyze client data to support relationship management Report on account progress, goals, and deliverables Requirements: Previous experience in a customer-focused, administrative key account support role is essential Strong interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks Ability to work well across teams and build rapport with clients Valid drivers license and own transport Benefits: Salary: negotiable.
