About our Company Com-struct has been serving the telecommunications industry since 2003, we provide new cellular infrastructure including new Site builds, share sites, rooftops to companies like Vodacom and American Tower, we also provide maintenance and upgrades of existing sites along with other scopes for these sites. We are a Private company with two owners. Com-struct is a registered Electrical Company holding a Level 2 BEE status. Key Duties and Responsibilities (Duties Include but not limited to): Warehouse/On-Site Support: Supervise and plan teams and projects. issuing of COC'S Installation of Site Distribution Boards (DB) and site lighting connections. Installation and configuration of cabinets, battery systems, and rectifiersCommission locks and configure rectifiers for optimal performance. Participate in the configuration of Raptor systems and alarms, including EOV alarms and firmware updates. Engage in cable tray installations, trenching for cable, and other physical tasks. Installation of BTS structures and air conditioning systems, including swaps.Rectifier upgrades and site cutovers as part of project transitions. Participate in RAN investigations and assist in troubleshooting site alarm faults. Layout and preparation of work areas, ensuring tools and materials are readily available. Provide assistance on all future electrical projects as needed. Site Surveys Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Participate in diagnosing electrical issues and assist in performing necessary repairs. Help conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and machinery. Warehouse house keeping. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company health and safety protocols and regulations. Work at heights and follow safety protocols during installations and maintenance tasks. Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately. Tool and Equipment Management: Organize and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Assist in transporting tools and materials to and from job sites. Documentation and Reporting: Photo & Daily Job Card Completion as per policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered. Communicate any concerns or discrepancies to the team or management. 3-Phase electrical N6 Certificate Trade tested Wireman's license advantegous Valid drivers license ,Code 10 Detailed oriented Team player Problem slover Relaible Experience within the Telecommuncation industry would be advantegous.
