HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

LOCATION CAPE TOWN SALARY: MARKET RELATED WITH MEDICAL AID/PROVIDENT FUND A prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in the Cape Town is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join their hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping within luxury environments and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities but not limited to: - Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet 5-star standards. - Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, maintaining high levels of productivity and morale. - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, back-of-house, and public spaces. - Assist in managing laundry operations and linen inventory. - Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and amenities. - Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest service. - Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally. - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards. - Maintain detailed records and reports related to room status, maintenance needs, and team performance. Requirements: - 3 years experience in a housekeeping role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position. - Previous experience in a 5-star hotel, lodge, or luxury estate environment. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. - Able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in housekeeping systems and general administrative duties. - Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
