This information system is deployed in 26 entities around the world. The main features of this information system consist of payments & cash management, loans & deposits, international trade finance, guarantees, general expenses, reference data, limit, and risk related systems. The department is in charge of the core applications used by various departments in the bank: back offices, finance & accounting, and compliance & risks. We are seeking an experienced intermediate SAP BI consultant with strong expertise in data warehousing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing business objects reports, dashboards and universes, ensuring seamless integration with data warehouse environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to analyze requirements, configure solutions, and develop custom reports. Main Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SAP Business Objects reports, dashboards, and universes based on business requirements. Manage BOBJ administration tasks including user management, security, folder grouping, and authorization management. Optimize SAP BO reports for performance and scalability. Ensure seamless data integration between SAP BO and Data Warehouses (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into Business Objects solutions. Implement SAP authorization mechanisms to ensure data security and compliance. Build and customize WebI report layouts to optimize user experience and accessibility. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BO reports, Universes, and ETL processes. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance tuning. Support and work independently on SAP BO upgrade activities, applying patches, and migrations. Perform System shakedown/verifications after an upgrade/update and work with product vendor to resolve issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for incident management related to reporting issues, providing timely resolution and escalation as needed. Required Skills Strong expertise in Web Intelligence (WeBI), and BO Dashboards. Experience with Universe Design Tool (UDT) and Information Design Tool (IDT). Solid understanding of Data Warehouse architectures, ETL processes, and data modeling. Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Experience in performance tuning of SAP BO reports and Universes. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical report specifications. Strong troubleshooting skills in SAP BO platform administration and reporting issues. Experience with SAP BO security, user management, and access control. Experience in SAP BO migration/upgrade projects. Experience in SAP BO automation and scripting (SDK, VBA, etc.) Qualification Minimum of 4 years of experience working with SAP Business Objects. Other Professional Skills and Mindset Good oral and written communication skills (English). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experienced working within a LEAN environment. Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Capable to effectively interact with functional and technical teams. Self-motivated and excellent team player. Ability to follow defined procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Understanding and respect of cultural diversity. Interested to learn and work in new technologies.
