About the Department This department plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations within the bank's Card Financial function. Job Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the smooth running of the Card Financial function. Manage payment for Cardholders (Issuing) & Merchant (Acquiring). Oversee rewards: Redemption and Waiver. Handle Card Scheme Settlement to Visa, MC & JCB, including remittance, bank charges, billing, fees & collection, and quarterly reporting. Plan and manage capacity to support changing business demand. Streamline processes to reduce operating costs and turnaround time without compromising quality and risk. Conduct internal reviews/tests to ensure compliance and assist with data analysis, report findings, recommend corrective actions. Lead, engage, and coach staff to high standards of performance, productivity, and service quality. Proactively manage and resolve customer and business unit feedback and queries. Drive operations-related projects and process improvements. Ensure adherence to the bank's policies, guidelines, and compliance requirements. Keep operation procedures up-to-date and identify opportunities to improve productivity and service quality. Job Requirements Diploma/Degree Holder. 5 to 10 years of retail banking operations experience, especially in Credit/Debit Cards Operations. Experience in team management with a minimum team size of 15. Able to multi-task and cope with change in a fast-paced environment. Experience in change management projects, including successful RPA and automation implementations. Strong organizational and management skills with leadership qualities. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous with an eye for detail and a quality mindset. Strong cross-functional collaboration, verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Team player, self-motivated, and resourceful, able to work under pressure.
