Head Bartender

We are seeking an experienced Head Bartender to join our team at Soho House Rome . As a Head Bartender with Soho House, your role is to ensure that our members have an exceptional experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will provide a platform for you to connect, grow, have fun, and make an impact. Your main responsibilities include serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed), and delivering excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. Additional duties involve mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service, and maintaining its pristine condition. Responsibilities Follow the steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, and drinks at the bar. Maintain a clean and organized bar area; collaborate with other bartenders to wash glassware and utensils after each use, and clean up after customers. Educate guests and members about beverage options through House Tonic trainings. Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonal menu items, and food pairing options to promote additional sales and enhance the dining experience. Handle payment transactions for all sold items and operate the cash register. Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and increase sales and member satisfaction. Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies; delegate replenishment to Barbacks as needed. Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to ensure a consistent and globally unified beverage program. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. What we are looking for: 1-2 years of experience in a busy, high-profile bar. Knowledge of classic cocktails and bartending techniques.
