Deadline Date: Wednesday, 7 May 2025 Requirement: Senior Technician (ICT Systems) Location: Sigonella, Italy Full Time On-Site: Yes Time On-Site: 100% Not to Exceed Rate: 43 EUR Total Scope of the request (hours): 836 Required Start Date: 16 June 2025 Required Security Clearance: NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET Duties and Role: Execute assigned work orders, often under the guidance of centralised services, to ensure SLA targets are met; Provide excellent customer service using effective communication techniques; Install and configure Desktop Services; Maintain and support local Voice and Data communication, Network, Audio/Video, and VTC equipment; Manage Routing and Switching equipment, VoIP, and VTC infrastructures; Analyze and troubleshoot Desktop, Communications, and Network Services; Test and evaluate hardware and software; Handle Incident Support Requests from creation to resolution; Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience; Support Problem Management through corrective actions; Contribute to service improvement and procurement processes; Participate in a 24/7 Duty Support Shift; Deputise for higher-grade staff as needed; Perform other duties within the NCI Agency's scope as required. Requirements: Skill, Knowledge & Experience: Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance; Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years of experience, or secondary education with 4 years of experience; Knowledge of LAN/WAN, Cisco products, routing protocols; Ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment; At least 2 years recent experience in CIS Service Operations; Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office; Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols; Initiative and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements. Desirable Experience and Education: Knowledge of NATO CIS policies and procedures; Experience with NATO crypto equipment; Experience in a Service Desk environment; Certification in PC hardware repair; Training in LAN; Experience in military and civilian international environments; Knowledge of NATO organizational structure.
