Software Developer

Job Description: DXC Technology Italy is looking for a Software Developer to join the Applications Service DXC Team. Application Services cover four areas: Applications Development; Applications Modernization and Transformation; Testing and Digital Assurance; and Applications Management. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and executes business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced systems. Uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business or technical problems. Interacts with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand the business environment, technical context, and strategic goals. Stays updated on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields). Experience with Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, Cloud-based applications, Microservices architecture, and patterns. Strong technical skills in Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, Design patterns, architecture design, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps. Ability to work with web development tools for new applications. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, with a focus on results and teamwork.
