Solution Architect - Business Intelligence

Role : Architect BI Solutions. Job Description : A highly motivated, skilled and experienced BI Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solution projects. The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency while fostering collaboration across teams. Required skills : - Design and architect end-to-end BI solutions, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. - Ability to lead & manage a team of BI developers. - Define and enforce BI standards, policies, and best practices. - Strong experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration. - Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Optimize SQL queries and improve performance of existing BI reports and data models. - Maintain and update the data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and report generation problems. - Support ad-hoc reporting needs and perform data analysis to provide insights for decision-making. - Work closely with other IT teams (Database Administrators, Data Analysts, etc.) to ensure data consistency and quality. - Stay up to date with the latest BI tools and technologies to recommend improvements or upgrades. Requirements : - 8-12 years of experience as BI Solutions Architect. - Expertise in BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL, cloud-based data warehouses). - Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle). - Experience in ETL processes and data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica). - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture. - Knowledge of data modeling techniques and data structures. - Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
