Business Central Developer - Power Platform

Job Title : Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Experience : Minimum 5 Years (NAV Business Central) Location : Remote Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, with hands-on experience in customizing, configuring, and integrating the platform to support complex business processes. This role demands technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Responsibilities : Application Development : - Design, develop, and implement custom extensions, modifications, and enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL, C/AL, and .NET. Customization & Configuration : - Customize core Business Central modules to align with specific business requirements across finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing. Solution Deployment : - Assist with the deployment of Business Central solutions, including data migration, environment setup, installation of extensions, and go-live support. Testing & Quality Assurance : - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of customizations and integrations to ensure stability, performance, and compliance with functional specifications. Issue Resolution : - Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues or bugs, providing ongoing support for deployed solutions. Documentation : - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including development specifications, system architecture diagrams, and end-user documentation. Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and provide technical Skills Required : - Proficient in AL language, C/AL, and C/SIDE development. - Solid experience with Visual Studio Code and AL development environment. - Deep understanding of Business Central development patterns and architecture. - Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL for data management and reporting. - Familiarity with .NET for custom integrations and extensions. - Experience in Web Services, APIs, and third-party integrations with Business Skills (Good to Have) : - Hands-on experience in upgrading solutions from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central. - Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate). - Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps and version control for managing codebase. - Certification: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate Profile : - Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central development. - Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on code quality, documentation, and best practices.
