Senior Software Developer - PHP/Java

Job Title : PHP Developer. Location : Chennai & Bengaluru (Hybrid). Experience & qualifications : - Work experience as a Senior Software / PHP / Java Developer or similar role. - Experience designing, building, and testing applications build using Symfony 5.x (currently migrating from Symfony 3.4) and PHP 8.x (currently migrating from PHP 7.4). - Experience with using Java 13 (Spring Boot), JavaScript (angular, canjs, react). - In-depth knowledge : OAuth, REST, SOAP. - Experience with using : Docker, MongoDB/Atlas, MySQL 5.7, PHPUnit, CI tools (like Jenkins), Git. - Experience with cloud platforms ([AWS/Azure/GCP]) and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. - Nice to have experience using python, PHP Behat framework can be helpful to support other projects in MyEnglishLab ecosystem. Role requirements : - Identify and analyse user requirements. - Prioritize and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle. - Designing, creating, and implementing PHP-based and Java applications. - Write well-designed, efficient code. - Review, test and debug team members' code. - Design database architecture. - Ensure our applications are secure and up to date. - Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives. - Problem solving with other team members in the project. - Identifying and resolving immediate potential issues with applications. - Participating in scrum/group meetings to discuss projects and objectives. - Assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding. - Meeting deadlines on fast-paced deliverables.
