Azure Data Engineer - ETL/SQL

Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop scalable, robust, and high-performance data pipelines on Microsoft Azure. - Implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Build and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts using Azure services. - Work extensively with Azure Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analytics. - Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. - Optimize data workflows and ensure data quality and integrity across systems. - Automate data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and publishing processes. - Implement best practices for security, governance, and compliance within the Azure Skills and Experience : - 5 to 12 years of experience in Data Engineering roles. - Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services including : - Azure Data Factory - Azure Databricks - Azure Synapse Analytics (preferred) - Azure Storage (Data Lake Gen2, Blob Storage) - Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, or Scala. - Experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., Azure SQL, SQL Server, etc.). - Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing concepts. - Experience in handling structured and unstructured data sources. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
