JD Edwards Functional Consultant - Sales & Distribution Solutions

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Functional Consultant specializing in the Sales & Distribution module to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and a proven track record in implementing, configuring, and supporting Sales and Distribution processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business processes, enhance system functionality, and drive continuous improvement Responsibilities : - Analysis, design, and implementation of JD Edwards Sales & Distribution solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document specifications, and develop functional designs for system enhancements. - Configure and customize JD Edwards Sales & Distribution modules, including Order Management, Inventory Management, Pricing, and Shipping. - Provide expert guidance and support during system upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other enterprise applications. - Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials to ensure effective user adoption of JD Edwards functionalities. - Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Sales & Distribution processes, working closely with technical teams as needed. - Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or optimizations to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. - Stay current with industry trends and JD Edwards updates, providing insights to management on potential impacts to the business. - Assist in the development of test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes and enhancements. - Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best : - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. - A relevant Master's degree or certifications in JD Edwards is a plus. - Minimum of 7 years of experience as a JD Edwards Functional Consultant, with a focus on the Sales & Distribution module. - Strong understanding of sales, inventory, and distribution processes in a manufacturing or distribution environment. - Proven experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne configuration, customization, and Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team- oriented environment. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or training sessions, as Skills : - Knowledge of other JD Edwards modules, such as Financials and Procurement, is a plus. - Experience with EDI, data migration, and integration with third-party applications. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
