AWS Data Engineer - ETL/Data Warehousing

Job Title : Data Engineer (6 Years Experience) Location : Bangalore Key Responsibilities : Data Pipeline Development : - Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python and AWS. - Automate data workflows, data processing, and data integration tasks. Cloud Data Architecture : - Manage and optimize data solutions on AWS, including data lakes, warehouses, and cloud storage. - Implement and maintain Snowflake data warehouse environments for seamless data storage and retrieval. Data Modeling and ETL : - Create, optimize, and manage ETL processes to ensure the efficient movement of data between systems. - Develop data models to support both transactional and analytical & Optimization : - Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions. - Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. Data Quality and Security : - Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by adhering to best practices and standards. - Implement data governance practices in line with company policies. Qualifications : - 6 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Python, AWS, and Snowflake. - Expertise in building and managing data pipelines, and working with large datasets. - Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and Redshift. - Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse (setup, optimization, and management). - Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation. - Experience with SQL and working with relational and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar tools is a plus. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. - Knowledge of data security and governance best practices. - Experience working in Agile environments and with version control systems (Git). - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
