SAP OMS Specialist - Implementation & Support

Key Responsibilities : - Implement, configure, and maintain SAP OMS solutions according to business requirements. - Customize SAP OMS configurations to support specific order processing workflows and business rules. - Ensure accurate and efficient data flow within the SAP ecosystem and with external systems. - Optimize order processing workflows, inventory synchronization, and fulfillment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors within SAP OMS. - Analyze existing SAP OMS processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement. - Integrate SAP OMS with ERP (SAP ECC, S/4HANA), WMS (SAP EWM, etc.), CRM (SAP CRM, Salesforce), and other business systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies. - Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes within the SAP environment. - Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data consistency. - Troubleshoot and resolve SAP OMS-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations. - Provide timely and effective support to end-users on SAP OMS functionality. - Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to enhance system efficiency and address business needs related to SAP OMS. - Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on SAP OMS. - Perform system upgrades, testing, and performance tuning of SAP OMS to ensure optimal system performance and stability. - Develop and execute test plans for SAP OMS system upgrades and enhancements. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP OMS configurations, workflows, and procedures. - Create and update technical documentation for SAP OMS system integrations and customizations. Required Skills & Experience : - Strong expertise in SAP OMS. - Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP OMS solutions. - Extensive experience in order processing, fulfillment, and inventory management workflows within an SAP environment. - In-depth knowledge of SAP OMS functionalities and best practices. - Hands-on experience with SAP OMS integrations (ERP, WMS, CRM, etc. - Proficiency in using APIs, middleware solutions (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI), and other integration technologies within the SAP ecosystem. -Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SAP OMS performance, including identifying and resolving bottlenecks. - Experience in performance tuning and automation within SAP systems. Technical Skills : - Strong knowledge of SQL for database queries and data analysis within SAP systems. - Understanding of APIs and web services relevant to SAP. - Experience with middleware solutions (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI) (ref:hirist.tech)
