Oracle BI Technical Lead - OBIEE/ODI Modules

Responsibilities : - Lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle BI solutions, including OBIEE, ODI, and related technologies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to BI developers and analysts. - Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies. - Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Design and architect scalable and high-performance OBI solutions. - Develop data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions based on business requirements. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and design specifications. - Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance BI capabilities. - Develop and maintain OBIEE reports, dashboards, and analyses. - Design and implement complex ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). - Optimize OBI performance and troubleshoot performance issues. - Develop and maintain repository (RPD) and web catalog. - Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Oracle databases. - Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. - Ensure data quality and consistency across the data warehouse. - Experience with star schema and snowflake schema data models. - Lead and manage BI projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. - Develop project plans, timelines, and resource estimates. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, database administrators, and application developers. - Manage and mitigate project risks and issues. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, IT management, and vendors. - Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Provide regular project updates and status reports. - Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions. - Tune and optimize the performance of Oracle BI environment including RPD, web catalog, and ODI processes. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Implement best practices for performance tuning. - Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for Oracle BI environment. - Manage user access and permissions. - Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. Required Skills : - Extensive experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) suite of products, including OBIEE, ODI, and RPD development. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques. - Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. - Experience with Oracle databases and data integration tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven experience in leading and managing BI projects. - Knowledge of star schema and snowflake schema data models. - Experience with performance tuning of OBIEE and ODI. Preferred Skills : - Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). - Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). - Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure). - Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark). - Oracle certifications. - Experience with scripting languages like Python or shell scripting.
