Quality Assurance Engineer - ETL/Datawarehouse Testing

Job Title : ETL QA Engineer Experience : 5 years Location : Pune, India Type of Work : Full Time Job Description : We are looking for an experienced ETL QA Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Data/ETL Testing and a strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data migration, and data ingestion. Key Responsibilities : - Ensure Quality First culture in all testing processes. - Develop and execute test automation using SQL, Python, and other scripting languages. - Work on back-end/ETL testing with strong SQL skills. - Create detailed Test Plans and Test Cases to support business and technological solutions. - Understand and follow the Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, and Defect Life Cycle. - Work with Agile methodologies, using Jira and other Test Management tools. - Have exposure to ETL tools and automation frameworks for data validation. - Publish test reports and track defects using appropriate tools. Required Skills : - 5 years of experience in Data/ETL Testing - Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines, data migration, and data ingestion - Strong SQL skills for backend/ETL testing - Experience in test automation using SQL, Python, etc. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Test Management tools - Good knowledge of ETL tools and automation frameworks for data validation - Experience in Test Plan and Test Case creation - Ability to publish test reports and log defects efficiently (ref:hirist.tech)
