Business Intelligence Developer We are seeking a passionate and skilled Business Intelligence Developer with a strong focus on Tableau to join our analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful dashboards and reports that empower our stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. You will leverage your expertise in Tableau, SQL, data modeling, and BI concepts to transform raw data into actionable visualizations. You will collaborate closely with business users to understand their analytical needs and deliver solutions that provide valuable insights. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud. Ensure visual best practices and effective storytelling with data. - Analyze and optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability to ensure efficient data exploration and a positive user experience. - Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases (SQL, NoSQL), data warehouses, spreadsheets, and cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless and reliable data flow. - Work closely with business stakeholders across different departments to understand their data and reporting requirements, translate business questions into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet their analytical needs. - Prepare, clean, model, and transform data using Tableau Prep or SQL to ensure data quality, consistency, and suitability for visualization. - Apply understanding of data warehousing principles (e.g., ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling) and BI concepts to design effective data models for reporting. - Utilize Tableau's data blending capabilities and create complex calculated fields to derive meaningful insights and perform advanced analysis. - Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to Tableau dashboards, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data presented in reports. - Document dashboard development processes, data sources, and calculations. Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize Tableau dashboards and interpret the data. - Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest features and updates in Tableau and other relevant BI technologies. Required Skills : - Proven track record (3 years) of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop. - Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and transformation from various database systems. - Ability to analyze complex business needs, identify key data points, and translate them into effective visual insights. Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and data-related issues. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, understand their requirements, and present findings clearly. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. - Solid understanding of data modeling principles and techniques for preparing and transforming data for visualization and analysis.
