Zensar Technologies - Senior S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst - SAP Ariba Platform

Job Title : Sr. S4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst Ariba Location : Hyderabad, India Experience : 5 Years Responsibilities : - Gather and analyze complex business requirements related to procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA and the Ariba platform. - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and configuration designs for both S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba modules. - Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Procurement functionalities, including but not limited to Purchase Requisitioning, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Processing (MM-IV), Source Determination, and Supplier Master Data Management. - Configure and implement one or more Ariba modules, such as Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Ariba Supplier Management, Ariba Contracts, or Ariba Guided Buying. - Design and implement seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA Procurement and the Ariba platform using relevant integration technologies (e.g., SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)). - Conduct workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and present solution designs. - Create and maintain comprehensive functional specifications, configuration documents, process flow diagrams, and test scripts. - Perform thorough system testing and support end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the implemented solutions meet business requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within both SAP S/4HANA Procurement and the Ariba environment, providing timely and effective solutions. - Provide training and support to end-users on the implemented S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba functionalities. - Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the procurement landscape by leveraging the capabilities of both S/4HANA and Ariba. - Stay up-to-date with the latest features, functionalities, and best practices in SAP S/4HANA Procurement and the Ariba suite. - Collaborate effectively with technical teams (e.g., ABAP developers, integration specialists) to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions. - Participate in the development of data migration strategies and support data migration activities related to S/4HANA and Ariba implementations. Technical Skills (Functional Focus) : - SAP S/4HANA Procurement : In-depth functional knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP S/4HANA Procurement modules, including : 1. Purchase Requisition (PR) processing 2. Purchase Order (PO) processing 3. Goods Receipt (GR) and Inventory Management 4. Invoice Processing (MM-IV) and Invoice Blocking 5. Source Determination and Contract Management 6. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) concepts within S/4HANA 7. Output Management and Forms configuration - SAP Ariba Modules : Proven hands-on experience in configuring and implementing at least one or more of the following Ariba modules : 1. Ariba Sourcing (Strategic Sourcing, Auctions) 2. Ariba Buying and Invoicing (Procure-to-Pay) 3. Ariba Supplier Management (Supplier Information Management, Supplier Performance Management) 4. Ariba Contracts 5. Ariba Guided Buying - Integration Expertise : Strong understanding of integration methodologies and hands-on experience in integrating SAP S/4HANA Procurement with the Ariba platform, preferably using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG). - Configuration Skills : Demonstrated ability to independently configure both SAP S/4HANA Procurement and relevant Ariba modules based on business requirements. - Business Process Analysis : Excellent skills in analyzing existing procurement business processes, identifying pain points, and designing optimized solutions in S/4HANA and Ariba. - Testing and Validation : Experience in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and executing testing for both S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba functionalities. - Documentation : Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive functional specifications, configuration documents, and user training materials. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Functional Analyst with a strong focus on SAP Procurement, with significant hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and Ariba. - Proven experience in at least two full lifecycle implementations or significant enhancement projects involving both SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba. - Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and best practices. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - SAP S/4HANA Certification in Procurement : Preferred. - SAP Ariba Certification : Preferred. Bonus Points : - Experience with SAP Fiori interface and its usage in S/4HANA Procurement. - Knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM) module and its integration with Procurement. - Experience with data migration tools and methodologies relevant to SAP S/4HANA and Ariba. - Familiarity with Agile project methodologies. - Understanding of different pricing models and contract management within Ariba. - Experience in specific industry verticals (Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods). - Knowledge of SAP Business Network.
