Job Title : SAP Finance Control Consultant (Senior Lead/Expert) Location : Hyderabad, India Experience : 15-20 years Responsibilities : - Solution Design and Architecture : Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive SAP FICO solutions to meet complex business requirements, considering industry best practices and client-specific needs. - Implementation and Configuration Leadership : Oversee and guide the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules, including but not limited to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO) - encompassing Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing (CO-PC). - - Business Requirements Gathering : Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, analyze current processes, and identify areas for improvement through SAP FICO solutions. - Integration Expertise : Demonstrate a strong understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM)) as well as with external systems. - Data Migration Strategy : Develop and execute comprehensive data migration strategies for SAP FICO implementations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. - Testing and Quality Assurance : Lead the development of comprehensive test plans and scenarios for SAP FICO implementations, ensuring thorough testing and high-quality deliverables. - Project Management and Delivery : Manage and lead complex SAP FICO implementation and rollout projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. - Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance on SAP FICO best practices and solutions. - Team Leadership and Mentoring : Mentor and guide junior SAP FICO consultants, fostering their technical and functional growth and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team. - Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, configuration documents, and training materials. - Pre-sales Support : Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, proposal development, and estimation efforts, leveraging your deep expertise to win new business. - Continuous Learning : Stay abreast of the latest SAP FICO innovations, S/4HANA Finance advancements, industry trends, and best practices, and share this knowledge with the team and clients. - Strategic Guidance : Provide strategic guidance to clients on how to leverage SAP FICO to achieve their business objectives, improve efficiency, and enhance financial control. Technical Skills : - SAP FICO Mastery : Deep and comprehensive hands-on expertise in SAP FICO modules (FI and CO) with a proven track record of successful implementations across various industries. - SAP Configuration Expertise : Extensive experience in the end-to-end configuration of SAP FICO modules, including advanced configuration scenarios and troubleshooting. - SAP S/4HANA Finance : Strong understanding and practical experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including new functionalities and migration paths. - Integration Technologies : Proficiency in various integration technologies and methodologies relevant to SAP FICO, including IDocs, APIs, and other interface mechanisms. Data Migration Tools and Techniques : Extensive experience with data migration tools and methodologies for SAP FICO implementations. Testing Methodologies : Deep understanding of various testing methodologies and experience in leading testing efforts for SAP FICO projects. ABAP Debugging (Beneficial) : While not always a primary development role, a strong understanding of ABAP for debugging and analyzing custom developments related to FICO is highly beneficial. SAP Solution Manager : Experience with SAP Solution Manager for project management, testing, and documentation. Project Management Tools : Proficiency in using project management tools for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress. Qualifications : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable institution. 15-20 years of progressive experience in SAP FICO consulting, with a significant portion dedicated to leading and managing complex implementation projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations and rollouts across diverse industries. Deep understanding of finance and controlling business processes and their integration with other business functions. Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of client and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop innovative SAP FICO solutions. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Relevant SAP certifications in FICO (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting, SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Management Accounting) are highly preferred. Willingness to travel as required by project demands. Bonus Points : Experience in specific industry verticals such as Manufacturing, Retail, Energy, or Public Sector. Knowledge of SAP Central Finance and its implementation methodologies. Experience with SAP Group Reporting and consolidation processes. Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for financial planning and analysis. Experience in leading and mentoring large teams of SAP consultants.
