Job Title : Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Tester Location : Hyderabad (Onsite at Salesforce Client Office) Experience Required : 6 Years Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Tester to join our team at the client location in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator, including core components such as Designer, Operator, and Topology. The ODI Tester will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and executing comprehensive test cases, and ensuring optimal performance and data quality throughout the ETL lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in a data-centric environment, contributing to the quality and reliability of enterprise data integration solutions at one of the world's leading tech Responsibilities : - Analyze and understand detailed business and technical requirement documents for ODI-based data integration projects. - Participate in requirement review meetings and work closely with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to gather testable requirements. - Identify critical test scenarios and testing points from business specifications and technical documentation. - Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ODI data flows and mappings. - Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems. - Conduct regression testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. - Work with the ODI Designer, Operator, and Topology modules to trace and verify the flow of data across systems. - Perform performance testing and load testing to validate system behavior under high data volume and stress conditions. - Raise defects with clear documentation and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. - Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices across all stages of the testing lifecycle. - Prepare detailed test reports, defect logs, and root cause analysis for testing activities. - Continuously improve test coverage, automation (if applicable), and testing Skills & Qualifications : - 6 years of professional experience in software testing with at least 34 years in ODI testing. - Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), particularly in using Designer, Operator, and Topology modules. - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling principles. - Ability to interpret and validate data transformation logic and mappings. - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and back-end testing. - Experience in performance testing and load testing of data integration workflows. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based environments is a plus. - Exposure to automation tools or scripting for ODI testing would be an added Qualifications : - Certification in Oracle Data Integrator or similar ETL tools. - Prior experience in the Salesforce data ecosystem or working in Salesforce environments. - Familiarity with data visualization or data quality tools.
