SAP MM Consultant - Implementation & Configuration

About the Role : We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) module, procurement processes, inventory management, and integration with SAP SD, PP, and FI. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, end-to-end implementations, and S/4HANA migration projects. Key Responsibilities : SAP MM Implementation & Configuration : - Configure and implement SAP MM module for procurement, inventory management, and logistics. - Customize purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, invoice verification, and stock transfers. - Set up pricing procedures, account determination, valuation, and batch management. - Integrate SAP MM with other modules like SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and FI (Finance & Controlling). - Perform data migration, cutover activities, and go-live support. Procurement & Inventory Management : - Configure and manage procurement processes (Direct & Indirect procurement, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements). - Implement vendor evaluation, quota arrangements, source lists, and procurement strategies. - Manage inventory movements, stock transfers, physical inventory, and warehouse integration. - Configure Automatic Account Determination and Material Valuation. SAP S/4HANA & Fiori Integration : - Work on SAP S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring best practices for MM processes. - Implement SAP Fiori apps for Purchase Order (PO) tracking, Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Approval. - Optimize procurement analytics using SAP HANA-based reporting tools. Testing, Documentation & Support : - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for SAP MM processes. - Create functional specifications for ABAP developments (custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces). - Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support. Technical Skills Required : - SAP MM Module - Procurement, Inventory Management, Valuation & Account Determination - Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Lifecycle - Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV) - SAP S/4HANA Migration - Configuration and Business Process Optimization - SAP Fiori Apps for Procurement & Inventory - Automatic Account Determination & Material Valuation - Integration with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO Modules - Master Data Management - Material Master, Vendor Master, Source List, Quota Arrangement - Hands-on Experience in LSMW, BAPIs, IDOCs for Data Migration & Interfaces - Knowledge of GST, Taxation, and Pricing Procedures Qualifications & Experience : - 4-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM module implementation and support. - Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and materials planning. - Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration and SAP Fiori applications. - Knowledge of SAP Ariba and Supplier Collaboration is an added advantage. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field. Preferred Skills : - Experience in SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). - Hands-on experience in SAP MM workflows and process automation. - Certification in SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA Procurement is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
