Job Title : SAP SD Consultant Locations : Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune EXP : 4yrs. In person interview April 5th-2025 Job Description : We are looking for an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant to join our team. The SAP SD Consultant will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module within the organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP SD, working closely with business users and stakeholders to drive business requirements into SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities : SAP SD Implementation & Configuration : - Lead the implementation, customization, and configuration of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module for clients across various industries. - Understand and analyze business requirements related to sales processes and design SAP SD solutions to meet those needs. - Configure the SAP SD module, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, delivery processing, and shipping. - Work on integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), FICO (Finance and Controlling), and PP (Production Planning). - Design and configure order-to-cash (O2C) business processes, including order processing, shipping, invoicing, and collections. Business Process Reengineering & Optimization : - Analyze current sales and distribution business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency using SAP SD functionality. - Provide expert guidance on best practices in sales and distribution processes, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Drive process improvements through automation and optimization using SAP SD capabilities. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : - Interact with cross-functional teams (business users, project managers, SAP technical consultants) to gather requirements and implement SAP SD solutions. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify pain points and propose SAP SD solutions for operational efficiency. - Provide expert advice on SAP SD solutions for key decision-makers and drive the system design accordingly. Testing & Data Migration : - Lead and support various testing activities such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Conduct data migration activities related to SAP SD, ensuring proper mapping and data validation. - Ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP by ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity. End-User Support & Training : - Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP SD users, addressing issues and troubleshooting errors related to the SAP SD module. - Conduct end-user training and workshops on SAP SD processes to ensure users understand the system and its functionality. - Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs for end-users to reference. Post-Implementation Support : - Provide post-implementation support for SAP SD after go-live, addressing any issues or additional requirements that arise. - Perform system upgrades and ensure the continued smooth operation of the SAP SD module. Documentation : - Maintain detailed documentation of configuration settings, technical specifications, business process designs, and any enhancements or customizations performed. - Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on project progress, status, and issues. Required Skills & Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. Experience : - Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD with a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP SD solutions. - Strong experience in configuring the SAP SD module, including sales order processing, pricing, delivery, billing, and integration with other modules (FICO, MM, WM). - Experience in configuring and troubleshooting SAP SD-related issues. - Good understanding of order-to-cash (O2C) processes, customer relationship management (CRM), and the integration of SAP SD with other business systems. Technical Skills : - Strong proficiency in SAP SD configuration and customization, including sales document types, item categories, pricing procedures, credit management, shipping, and billing. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC 6.0, or cloud-based SAP solutions. - Understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules (MM, FICO, PP, WM). - Ability to write functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces. Soft Skills : - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Preferred Qualifications : - SAP Certification in SAP SD module. - Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA. - Experience in managing global rollouts and multi-country projects. - Knowledge of advanced SAP SD topics such as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration, advanced pricing techniques, and credit management.
