Data Scientist - Integrated Business Planning We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team and support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in time series analysis, machine learning, and programming using Python or R, along with proficiency in SQL. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and deploying robust forecasting models, and requires active collaboration with business process owners and data science teams across the organization. Key Responsibilities : - Build and maintain univariate time series feature analysis to support the IBP process. - Develop, test, and integrate new univariate time series models to enhance forecast accuracy. - Contribute to the development and deployment of multivariate forecasting models. - Collaborate with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) stakeholders to troubleshoot models and implement new analytical features. - Partner with analytical and subject matter experts across the organization to drive improved forecasting results. - Provide expert consultation for management team during focused model reviews and strategic decision-making sessions. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and control frameworks for all deployed models and analytical tools. - Continuously evaluate and integrate new data sources, modeling techniques, and technologies into existing workflows. Mandatory Skills : - Strong hands-on experience in Classic Time Series Analysis Tools (e.g., ARIMA, Holt-Winters, Exponential Smoothing) - Solid background in Machine Learning Models (e.g., regression, classification, ensemble methods) - Proficient in Python or R for data science programming - Strong SQL coding skills for data extraction, manipulation, and processing - Familiarity with statistical model validation and performance tracking - Experience working in forecasting or supply chain domains - Exposure to IBP tools or ERP systems - Prior experience in model deployment and MLOps - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
