Job Description

About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an OFSC Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Oracle Field Service Cloud solutions for our clients. You will play a crucial role in enabling our clients to optimize their field service operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of OFSC functionalities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities : Solution Design and Configuration : - Design and configure Oracle Field Service Cloud solutions based on client requirements and best practices. - Customize OFSC application components, including resource pools, territories, routing rules, scheduling policies, skills, work types, and activities. - Configure and manage user roles, security profiles, and access permissions within OFSC. - Develop and implement workflows and business rules within OFSC using configuration tools and scripting. - Design and configure inventory management within OFSC, if applicable. - Configure and manage Service Contracts and Warranties within OFSC, if applicable. - Design and implement mobility solutions for field technicians using the OFSC mobile application, including configuration and troubleshooting. Integration and Data Management : - Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle Field Service Cloud and other enterprise systems such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Siebel), ERP (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP), and GIS systems. - Utilize OFSC APIs and integration tools to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems. - Perform data migrations and data transformations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during OFSC deployments and upgrades. - Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues. Reporting and Analytics : - Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards using OFSC reporting tools (e.g., Business Intelligence Publisher, Analytics Publisher) and APIs. - Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights to optimize field service performance. - Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of OFSC implementation. Technical Support and Troubleshooting : - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OFSC configuration, integrations, mobile functionality, and performance. - Provide timely and effective support to end-users, addressing their queries and resolving issues. - Document solutions and best practices for common issues. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and client stakeholders, throughout the project lifecycle. - Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members. Continuous Learning and Improvement : - Stay current with Oracle Field Service Cloud updates, patches, new features, and best practices. - Assess the impact of new OFSC releases on the existing system and recommend appropriate upgrades or enhancements. - Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team capabilities. - Contribute to the development of internal tools and methodologies related to OFSC implementations. Qualifications and Experience : Required : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), or Master of Science (M.Sc). - 3-6 years of experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Field Service Cloud solutions. - Proven experience in designing and configuring core OFSC modules including Service, Routing, Forecasting, Mobility, and Quoting (if applicable). - Strong understanding of OFSC configuration options, including resource management, territory management, scheduling algorithms, and work order management. - Experience in developing and maintaining integrations between OFSC and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, GIS) using OFSC APIs, web services, or middleware. - Experience in designing and implementing mobile solutions for field technicians using the OFSC mobile application. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining custom reports and dashboards using OFSC reporting tools and APIs. - Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel based on project requirements. Preferred : - Oracle Field Service Cloud certification. - Experience with specific industry verticals (e.g., Utilities, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Healthcare). - Familiarity with other Oracle Cloud applications. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Groovy). - Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
