Role : Lead Kafka Engineer Job Summary : - Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining real-time data streaming applications using Confluent Kafka. - Build microservices and event-driven applications utilizing Confluent Kafka producers and consumers to process high-volume. - Working with various teams to understand their need for integration and ensure smooth data flow. - Protect sensitive data within the Kafka ecosystem , adhering to data privacy regulations. Skills : - Strong operational background running Kafka clusters at scale. - Strong understanding of Kafka broker, connect, and topic tuning,architectures and Kafka API. - Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals as related to Kafka performance. - Competent with configuration management in code/IaC including Ansible and Terraform. - Passionate about data driven operations; building and leveraging observability with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. - Knowledge and experience of containers and Kubernetes cluster. - Strong scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash.
