SAP Analytics Consultant - Implementation & Support

Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of SAP analytics projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and deployment. - Conduct detailed business requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their reporting, dashboarding, and analytical needs. - Design and develop comprehensive SAP analytics solutions utilizing tools such as SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), SAP Business Warehouse (BW/4HANA), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Lumira, SAP Crystal Reports, and others as required by the project. - Create visually appealing and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate key business insights to stakeholders. - Configure and customize SAP analytics tools to meet specific client requirements, including setting up connections, security, and user access. - Integrate SAP analytics solutions with various SAP and non-SAP data sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance. - Perform data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities to prepare data for analysis and reporting within the SAP environment. - Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity of analytical data. - Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize the implemented SAP analytics solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP analytics applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in SAP analytics technologies and proactively recommend innovative solutions to clients. - Collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and other internal team members to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for implemented solutions, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. - Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development, as needed. Requirements : - Experience : Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Analytics Consultant, with a proven track record of successfully implementing SAP analytics solutions. - SAP Analytics Tools : Strong hands-on expertise in at least one of the following SAP analytics tools - SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) suite (Web Intelligence, Lumira Designer/Discovery, Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office). - SAP Business Warehouse (BW/4HANA) including data modeling, ETL processes, and query design. - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) including story building, data modeling, planning, and predictive capabilities. - Data Modeling : Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema) and experience in designing efficient data models for analytical purposes. - ETL/ELT : Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP analytics platforms. Knowledge of SAP Data Services or other ETL tools is a plus. - SQL : Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis across various database systems. - Business Intelligence Concepts : Strong understanding of business intelligence (BI) and analytics concepts, including reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualization best practices. - Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. - Client-Facing Skills : Proven experience working directly with clients, understanding their business needs, and building strong, collaborative relationships. - Teamwork : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Bonus Points : - Experience with multiple SAP analytics tools mentioned above. - Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its embedded analytics capabilities. - Experience with SAP HANA as a data platform for analytics. - Familiarity with data governance and data quality concepts and tools. - Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or data science concepts within the SAP ecosystem. - SAP certifications in relevant SAP analytics areas. - Experience in specific industries (e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, Finance). - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis and automation.
