SAP MM Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with a strong background in implementation and support within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in procurement, material handling, warehouse, and inventory management processes, along with the ability to gather business requirements, create functional specifications, and work with ABAP and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and support end-to-end SAP MM implementation and support projects. - Analyze complex business requirements and map them to SAP MM solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. - Configure and customize SAP MM functionalities. - Develop and validate functional specifications for ABAP developments. - Collaborate with technical teams to implement custom developments and enhancements. - Provide SAP MM module support, including issue resolution, user training, and change request management. - Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational pain points and provide effective SAP-based solutions. - Track and manage issues during testing, ensuring timely resolution and quality assurance. - Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities. - Document business processes, configuration settings, test scenarios, and training materials. Required Qualifications : - Minimum 5 years of SAP MM consulting experience in support and implementation projects. - At least 3 years of domain experience in procurement/materials management within a manufacturing setup. - Strong understanding of SAP MM best practices in material handling, procurement, warehouse, and physical inventory processes. - Experience in preparing Functional Specifications for ABAP developments and validating custom solutions. - Proven ability to work on issue tracking, resolution, and change management. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise between technical and business teams. - Ability to identify business process challenges quickly and propose SAP-based resolutions (ref:hirist.tech)
