SAP MM Consultant - Implementation & Support

Job Title : SAP MM Consultant Location : Mumbai Job Type : Full-Time Experience Required : 7 to 10 Years Start Date : Immediate or short notice preferred About the Role : We are looking for a seasoned SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Materials Management and working knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in end-to-end SAP MM implementation, AMS support, and the ability to act as a subject matter expert to resolve complex business issues and drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Lead and execute at least two full-cycle SAP MM support for 23 AMS (Application Management Services) projects in the SAP MM module. Deliver L3-level SAP MM support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Manage and support the SAP WM module, with at least one AMS support experience. Design optimal SAP MM solutions and contribute to process and collaborate across functional and technical teams to implement best practices. Act as an SAP MM Subject Matter Expert, driving value-added solutions for business initiatives. Prepare and review functional specifications, conduct testing, lead user training sessions, and maintain system Skills Required : - Deep knowledge of SAP MM module, including purchasing, inventory management, and logistics. - Intermediate-level expertise in SAP WM (Warehouse Management). - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues in MM and WM modules. - Strong skills in functional specification writing, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and cutover activities. - Familiarity with integration between MM and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI). - Experience working in ticketing tools and incident management systems for AMS support. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - SAP certification in MM or WM is an added advantage. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams when required (ref:hirist.tech)
