Job Description
Job Title : IT Project Manager. Location : Mumbai/ Pune. Reports to : Associate Director and MD. Type : Full Time. Salary : As per the industry norms. Experience : 2 years in project management. Job Overview : As a Project Manager at IBVL, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will drive the project lifecycle, manage resources, resolve issues, and ensure that all project goals align with the company's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities : Project Planning and Execution : - Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget. - Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project deliverables and timelines. - Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time. - Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure the project stays on track. Team Leadership and Collaboration : - Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring productivity. - Facilitate regular team meetings, including kick-offs, stand-ups, and reviews. - Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. - Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to project team members to ensure their growth and development. Stakeholder and Client Management : - Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and expectations. - Ensure regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations. - Address client feedback, concerns, or issues promptly and ensure client satisfaction. Risk and Issue Management : - Identify potential project risks and issues early in the process and develop mitigation strategies. - Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and escalate where necessary. - Track project risks and take proactive steps to address challenges before they affect the timeline or budget. Budget and Resource Management : - Oversee the project budget and ensure financial control by managing expenses and preventing cost overruns. - Manage resources, ensuring the appropriate allocation of team members, tools, and technologies. - Adjust resource allocation as necessary to keep the project on track. Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring : - Ensure that project deliverables meet the quality standards expected by clients and stakeholders. - Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project health. - Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, timelines, meeting notes, and issue logs. - Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any deviations from the plan. - Ensure all project deliverables are documented, approved, and archived as per company standards. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing projects. - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum). - Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading projects to completion. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficient in project management tools (e., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello). - Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications : - Project Management Professional certification or equivalent. - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum frameworks. - Experience working in the BFSI segment is preferred. Key Skills : - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. - Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks. - Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complexities.
