Practice Head - Oracle Practice

About the job : As the Practice Head for BlitzenX's Oracle Practice, you will lead the establishment and growth of the Oracle Practice in Hyderabad. Your mission is to develop a high-performing team of 50 professionals by the end of 2025 while driving excellence in Oracle Fusion SCM, Oracle Fusion Finance, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic oversight to create a thriving practice that delivers transformative business solutions. Key Responsibilities : Practice Leadership and Strategic Planning : - Define the strategic roadmap for 2025, including practice goals, recruitment plans, and revenue targets. - Build and grow the Oracle Practice into a self-sustaining and highly profitable business unit. - Collaborate with the executive team to align the Oracle Practice's growth with organizational objectives. Team Building and Talent Acquisition : - Develop and execute a recruitment plan to scale the Oracle team from 0 to 50 professionals by the end of 2025. - Partner with HR to identify and onboard top-tier Oracle Fusion SCM, Finance, and OIC experts. - Build a strong internal talent pipeline through innovative hiring strategies, including lateral hires, campus recruitment, and internal reskilling programs. Employee Development and Retention : - Create a comprehensive training and development program for team members, focusing on Oracle certifications, technical skills, and soft skills. - Establish mentorship programs to nurture junior team members into future leaders. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth. - Implement effective retention strategies, including performance incentives, career progression plans, and recognition programs. Delivery and Operations Management : - Establish a robust delivery framework, ensuring all projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Implement best practices in project management, risk mitigation, and client communication. - Ensure operational efficiency by optimizing resource allocation, project staffing, and cost management. Competency Development and Knowledge Management : - Develop Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for Oracle Fusion SCM, Finance, and OIC to create reusable assets and frameworks. - Introduce a knowledge management system for sharing best practices, lessons learned, and reusable components. - Invest in emerging technologies (e.g, AI, ML, IoT) to ensure BlitzenX stays ahead of Oracle market trends. Stakeholder and Client Engagement : - Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure exceptional delivery. - Engage with sales teams in pre-sales activities, RFP responses, and proposal building. - Build long-term relationships with clients by delivering high-quality Oracle solutions aligned with their business goals. Leadership and Culture Building : - Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and teamwork. - Organize regular team-building activities, knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance reviews to create a cohesive team. - Act as a role model for ethical leadership and drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the Oracle Practice. Demand Analysis And Market Focus : - Oracle Fusion SCM : Address growing demand in areas like supply chain planning, inventory management, and procurement optimization. - Oracle Fusion Finance : Lead implementations of advanced financial analytics, reporting, and compliance solutions. - Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) : Develop seamless integrations for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, enabling business agility. Technical Expertise : Required Skills and Qualifications : - Extensive experience in Oracle Fusion SCM, Finance, and OIC, including solution design and delivery. - Strong understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Certifications : - Oracle Certified Specialist/Professional in Fusion SCM, Finance, and/or OIC. - Additional certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Analytics are desirable. Experience : - 12 years of experience in Oracle technologies, with 5 years in leadership roles. - Proven ability to scale teams and deliver on ambitious growth targets. - Demonstrated success in large-scale, complex Oracle implementations across industries.
