Data Scientist - SQL/Python

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends. - Create compelling and insightful visualizations that effectively communicate complex data to stakeholders. - Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, accurate, and updated in real-time or as required. - Develop and implement API integrations to seamlessly pull data from various sources into our data warehouse or analysis platforms. - Troubleshoot API issues and ensure data integrity during integration processes. - Document API integration processes and maintain clear records. - Develop and implement macros in Excel and other tools to automate repetitive data manipulation and reporting tasks. - Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency. - Ensure automated processes are reliable and scalable. - Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g , pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, array formulas) for complex data analysis and manipulation. - Develop and maintain data models and perform ad-hoc data analysis using Excel. - Troubleshoot and optimize existing Excel-based processes. - Develop and maintain complex data models and DAX measures in Power BI. - Design and implement data refresh schedules and ensure data accuracy. - Provide training and support to users on Power BI functionality. - Integrate Salesforce and TCS Ion data into our data analysis platforms. - Develop and maintain data mappings and transformations to ensure data consistency. - Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize data flow. - Design, automate, and publish daily reports to provide timely insights to the founder and other stakeholders. - Collaborate closely with the founder to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven recommendations. - Ensure reports are accurate, relevant, and delivered on time. - Develop and implement processes for integrating and populating IoT data into our data systems. - Ensure data integrity and accuracy of IoT data. - Optimize data storage and retrieval for IoT data. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in a data-driven role, with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and visualization. - Proven experience with Power BI, Excel (including macros), API integration, and database management. - Experience with Salesforce and TCS Ion integration is highly desirable. - Experience handling and manipulating IoT data. - Strong understanding of data analysis and statistical concepts. Preferred Skills : - Experience with SQL and database management. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Understanding of machine learning concepts (ref:hirist.tech)
