We are in the process of helping our client in identifying Senior Informatica Powercenter Specialist , a Full Time role in Chennai Below find details about the role and reply with your updated resume to take it forward for submission Senior Informatica Powercenter Specialist Job Type : Full Time Job Positions : 2 Location : Chennai Job Description : - 810 years of experience in ETL and data integration, with 5 years specifically in Informatica PowerCenter development. - Strong background in PL/SQL development, data modeling, and large-scale data warehouse implementations. - ETL Tools : Informatica PowerCenter (required), SSIS (nice to have) - Data Architecture : Data warehousing, data governance, dimensional modeling - Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and ETL job scheduling - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills - Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-driven mindset Key Responsibilities : ETL Development with Informatica PowerCenter : - Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring seamless data movement across systems and platforms. - Create reusable mappings and transformation logic aligned with best practices and data architecture guidelines. Advanced PL/SQL Development : - Develop, test, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and scripts for data processing in Oracle and SQL Server environments. Data Quality & Governance : - Identify data inconsistencies and build validation rules and cleansing routines to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Data Modeling & Documentation : - Maintain data models, schemas, dictionaries, and data mappings, ensuring transparent and standardized metadata usage across the organization. Performance Optimization : - Fine-tune queries and ETL workflows to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability in large data environments. Stakeholder Collaboration : - Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions by closely partnering with data analysts, scientists, and product owners. Testing & Deployment : - Perform unit and integration testing, and manage seamless deployment of data workflows into production environments with version control.
