Data Engineer - Big Data Technologies

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore or Chennai. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines, working with big data technologies, and implementing data models and structures for analytical and operational needs. Key Responsibilities : - Data Pipeline Development : Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. - Data Integration : Integrate data from multiple sources and platforms, ensuring a seamless flow of data across systems. - Database Management : Build and manage scalable databases and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery), ensuring high performance and reliability. - ETL Processes : Develop, manage, and optimize ETL processes, transforming raw data into structured and usable forms for analysis. - Data Modeling : Develop data models for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics, ensuring they align with business goals and data strategies. - Data Quality : Establish and maintain data quality procedures to ensure the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of data. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. - 8 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building scalable data pipelines, managing large datasets, and working with big data technologies. - Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). - Strong experience with ETL frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica). - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services such as S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Dataproc, or Snowflake.
